The one thing that appealed to me about the Dog's Trust was that it was one of the few rehoming centres in my area which you can just turn up to. Some of the staff were great, as I said before, my only issues were when I went to pick my dog up. It was such a shame as I found the whole experience quite overwhelming as the day I went to collect Shiney was the date my previous family dog (who had been put to sleep exactly 2 months before) would have turned 14. On top of that, my OH had to work so I was on my own and just had Shiney thrust at me. Luckily she is an amazing dog and I am so glad I got her but I wish my experience had been more positive.

we adopted our dog from dogs trust at sadberge i made several visits to see the dogs before meeting up with our now dog.
i got to say on every visit the staff were polite but maybe a little bit busy at times.
when we 'chose' our dog we filled in the pre- adoption papers again with a friendly member of staff, went for a pre adoption talk even though i have always had dogs i did pick some helpful tips up, the young man that did the home check was great and the same when we went to collect the dog.
had to take our dog back to be neutered again the staff where friendly.
