Bus Lane Fine

I received a letter from Glasgow City Council for a fine for £90 for being in a bus lane. The letter states that as I have not paid the fine in full I now need to pay £90 (initial charge increases by 50%). I have not received a letter from GCC until now so I have no idea where the first letter has gone or was it ever sent out in the first place????

Has this happened to anyone else? Any advice would be appreciated.

You call the communication a 'letter' but it's not, it's either an Enforcement Notice or a Charge Certificate. If it's the latter then take the advice on the CAG thread, wait for the Order for Recovery and then immediately respond that you never received the PCN or Enforcement Notice.

The idea would be to get the PCN re-set back to a stage where you can appeal or pay.

If the 'letter' is just an Enforcement Notice then clearly you can appeal as it will say so on the Notice. That's only the second stage and you'd only have missed getting the PCN, you can still appeal.

Either way, why not post a new topic on Pepipoo (not CAG, they are fairly useless with their advice IMHO and I am one of several who no longer bother to post there). So here's pepipoo and the forum you want; start a new topic with a pic of all pages of the Notice you received:
