In Work Credit - Self Employed evidence help needed!!

Hi,
I recently became self employed & started claiming In Work Credit. I've received a letter from Jobcentre saying i have to send in suitable evidence of my earnings/income from my self employment for the last 8wks, which can be submitted on form IWC5.
Does anyone know what kind of evidence i need to send in please?
Are they just wanting invoices/receipts for the jobs that i have received an income from?
Or a breakdown of the total hours i've worked on a weekly basis, ie. time spent on marketing, bookeeping as well as the paid work etc.
Thank you in advance for any advice.

It would probably be difficult to prove your hours and work put in etc. Personally i'd send in anything which proves you are officially self employed and your self employment income, like any tax statements from the Inland Revenue, Business Bank Account Statements, supplier invoices, and a copy of your latest monthly accounts etc. But if in any doubt, why not ring them and ask?"Dont expect anybody else to support you, maybe you have a trust fund, maybe you have a wealthy spouse, but you never know when each one, might run out" - Mary Schmich0
