Hi all really need some help with this one we lost our mail.app on our mac mini. how can i reinstall it weve tried putting the install dvd's but neither of them would start. not sure why they wont start.
I found and clicked on the mail and it came up with this;
"You can’t use this version of Mail with this version of Mac OS X.it can’t be used on this version of Mac OS X. Try opening the version of Mail located in the Applications folder on your computer. For more information, click the Help button". well weve looked in the app folder and clicked on it but comes up with the same messsage.

Remove Mail.app from applications.
Delete User/Library/Mail
Delete User/Library/Application support/Mail
Delete User/Library/Preferences/mail.plist
Reinstall Mail from DVD0 -
Hi in the end we just took it back to the mac shop in lakeside and they reinstalled for free :T thank you anyway:)0
