Hello im new here i realy need some advice about my housing benefit, i got letter from my landloard few weeks ago saying £199 in arrear and housing benefit still paying old weekly rent amount but rent gone up since july by £5 a week,after that i wrote letter to housing benefit and sent them all papers and made many phone calls in end today i got reply from housing benefit saying we still pay you old amount, im shocked baouse i should get full rent im not in private its hosuing assosaction ,so now i dont know what to do?? i told them both my landload and hosuing benefit its not my fault cos money paid direct from hosuing benefit to landloard so its thier mistake but my landloard housing assosaction still wants me to sort this, any idea what should i do? can housing beneift say we not pay new amount? i thought they pay full rent to council and housing assoctaions? please help,thanks
