Unbelievable!

I bought a Kipling bag on eBay couple of weeks ago, described as new with tags. When it arrived, I was not convinced it was new so I asked for a refund, which she refused. It was escalated to customer support for a decision and this morning I had an e-mail saying they had found in my favour, and will pay for me to return the bag.

I posted the bag at 12.09 today and she has already re-listed it using her original photo, describing it as "used twice". She swore blind to both me & eBay that it was new and this was why she wouldn't refund!

Lets hope it doesn't get delayed in the post, as her auction ends in two days and she will nothing to send out otherwise. :D

Shame you didn't see her listing first, I would've hung onto the bag for a few extra days just to wind her up ;)

I wish I had now, eBay gave me 9 days to return it but as I am on holiday next week I wanted to get it out of the way.

She listed it at 12.30 so she is taking a real gamble on me returning it quickly.
  • how dishonest....i would leave negative feedback , just because she lied....and so that whoever bids on it can see it too

Too late unfortunately, I left her positive feedback which just said "Received with thanks" before I realised that it wasn't in fact new. In future I am going to wait!

And another thing - surely until I have a refund, the bag is still technically mine?
  • it would be terrible if you accidently let us know the item number to maybe bid on :D

I would think the OP has left enough clues if anyone really wanted to find it ;)

you have option to follow up on feedback...which will show up directly under the original feedback left...can't change the positive. Mention on close inspection you found it to be used and have returned it.
