Powergen/Age Concern
Options
Dear All
Hoping for some opinions here. I'm currently with Powergen/AgeConcern for gas & electricity (since last summer at the time this was best deal for me). I seem to recall that earlier in the year they made a big fanfare of their upcoming price reductions. That would happen in April 2007.
Got the notice letter this week and I am not impressed. The new prices take effect from the 30th April. That seems suspiciously like May to me!.
New prices (at least what applies to me) inclusive of VAT
Electricty
15.72p/kWh upto 225kWh per quarter, after that 10.37p/kWh. This is a massive reduction of 0.1p & 0.05p respectively
Gas
3.120p/kWh upto 1143kWh per quarter, after that 2.675p/kWh. This is a massive reduction of 0.5p & 0.394p respectively.
They have really been generous......... not!!
Far from impressed. As per Martins reminder stickie I shall be price comparing very soon.
Lastly am I paying the same as other Powergen/AgeConcern customers?
