Hi ALL,
Unfortunately I am having to get rid of my beautiful bunny, due to a change in circumstance I have to let him go.:( However I want him to go to a good home, somewhere he will be loved. I have tried Gumtree but was not impressed with the replies. Anyone know where the best place to advertise would be. I am not charging I just want him to go to a good home.
Thanks

Where in the country are you?
If there's one near you then you could give him to a rescue that specialises in small animals and let them rehome him.
Or have you visited a rabbit specific forum? Some of them have rehoming sections, and lots of members who are rabbit experts.

No I don't want him going to a rescue and certainly not at a pet at home window. Will try the forum, thanks0

I just dont want him to be put in a cage for long periods of time. I rather find him a forever home now rather than him being unsettled again0

Rescues may help you find him a home without taking him in themselves - it benefits them to not have to make room or having to find the costs to feed and clean out another rabbit. You should be able to advertise him privately on the Rabbits United forum too - http://forum.rabbitrehome.org.uk0

A rescue is a LOT better than Gumtree!! They will often home straight from you to a new place and do a homecheck, Gumtree is full of people looking for prey for their fighting dog or something fluffy just for Christmas.Declutterbug-in-progress.⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️0 -

The home of many unscrupulous backyard breeders of all kinds of animals from dogs and cats to reptiles...another species which is suffering in the hands of inexperienced owners breeding to make a fast buck!“You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time, but you can never please all of the people all of the time.”0 -
Would your vet's practice advertise for you? After all,if someone takes their animals to the vets they must be caring owners.0
