What is SNAD

How bad does an item have to be before it is SNAD? I have received an item listed as used but the description said 'as new' condition, hardly used. It has stains and marks that will probably wash and clean off and at one time I would have done just that but I just want to return it. Seller is a private seller who accepts returns but can I really class this as SNAD and am I right in assuming that my refund will include original postage paid?
I know that sellers are fed up with buyers doing stuff like this but I feel the same about some sellers that seem to be taking more chances since the pricing restructure. This seller is probably just unlucky that I have come to the end of my tether.
Sorry for moaning and yes I have decided that I will no longer be bidding for anything other than BNWT on ebay.

I would say it does fall under SNAD. You will get your original postage back, but not your return postage (unless seller is a decent one.)
In order to guarantee refund you would also need to return it by a tracked method, so depending on the value of the item it may or may not be worth it.0
