Does anybody know where I could find a website to buy six of these BC 11 watts, please? I saw a website at £4 each but they are a bit fancy and I would prefer the normal one. Thanks.

I'm amazed that the picture of the candle bulb is still there. Can you post the link to where they are £4 ?

They are new spiral ones at 6 for £19.99. Please have a look and tell me what you think, I would prefer the traditional ones. I intend to buy them. At the moment, I am using 3 x 60 watts, I think I should still buy the 11 watts. What happens if one get fused, can you replace it with an ordinary one if you do not have a spare energy saver one? Thanks.

Thanks for checking for me, screwfix does not have the watts I require 11 equivalent to 60 watts. Joe, please let me know if you can get it any cheaper. I assume you have been searching as well. I intend to order over the week-end. I am not very happy to buy online, in case I buy the wrong ones, but I guess, they are tandard bayonet fitting. Thanks again.

@marylee I only have use for one 3W candle bulb at the moment. The main use I have for conventional candle bulbs is in a dimmer circuit. These energy saver bulbs do not respond to a dimmer switch they are either full brightness or off.

You can mix energy saving bulbs with normal ones without worry. The energy saver ones will take a few seconds to illuminate and reach full brightness.

Thanks, Joe. Have already ordered the spiral ones online as they seem to be a new product.
