Royal mail packets

Arghhhhhhhhhh

I know it's not their fault but I have just bought 200 Cadbury's Creme Eggs to send to the regular visitors of my website and have now discovered that because they are over 2.5 cm wide they come under packets. It's going to cost me £1.09 a time to send them!

6 months ago these could of gone under normal post.

What a bloody waste!

send them all to me in one big box ;)

It is bloody annoying though, I used to make my own birthday cards to send to friends and family but because they are slightly 3d they now have to go large letter size which costs more to send :( I stopped making them out of protest lol

seems false economy to send a cream egg at a cost of £1.09 ...its a lovely idea - but is it really worth it ? how about having a competition on your website ....say 20 prizes of 10 cream eggs ?? That way your regular visitors will see it as a nice gesture but it will not cost you as much in postage in the long run
I have had brain surgery - sorry if I am a little confused sometimes ;)

Turn them into Cadbury's Crème Omelettes, and send them as large letters?

Ahh well, ring up another courier and see how much they will charge to deliver them for you! I think you may find Royal Mail is actually very good value for money!!!!
