Related question here so please don't shout at me!!!!! Does anyone know why when you subscribe you don't get the free gift that you get when bought in the shop? She had a free book this month (on the shelf) but I didn't get it as a subscriber
;) If you think you are too small to make a difference, try getting in bed with a mosquito!

I have had that with a few subscriptions. Noticed a free gift in the shops but didn't get it as the subscriber. I thought the postman had been pinching them.
  • I contacted SHE to complain about not receiving free gifts - I got them for the first couple of issues, then they stopped. The first time it happened they said they would send it to me (but they didn't!) and the second time it happened they said that it was their policy not to send free gifts to subscribers, can't remember the exact excuse, but something to do with postage costs. I have subscribed to various magazines over the years but SHE is the only one that has stopped sending free gifts.

When you open Martins link there is a Terms and Conditions link at the bottom, click on it it says "These subscriptions may not include all promotional items packaged with the magazine." which explains why you dont get the freebies, and also they do therefore tell you in advance. Always read the small print!!!

However its still a great price so I am going to order it for my sis in law for her birthday

Just tried this and I suspect it may have changed - it's now sayin
Annual Direct Debit + FREE Wise Woman Range by The Body Shop @ £12.00
So I suspect it's just one product now rather than 3?

  • You can also get other magazines on 3 issues for £1 deals with £4.80 Quidco cashback - so 3 magazines for £1 and £3.80 'profit'.

    Go to:
    http://www.quidco.com/entertainment/magazine-subs/magazine-group/
    (log in or register)

Then visit via the Quidco link which takes you to:
    http://www.magazine-group.co.uk/magazine-group/best-deals/

Where the 3 issues for £1 offers include:

    Marie Claire
    In Style
    She (no free gift though)
    delicious
    Mens Fitness
    PC Pro

You only get the £4.80 cashback once though - although you might get it multiple times for different magazines if you delete cookies and spread out the orders over a few days/weeks.

Remember to cancel the direct debit after the £1 is debited if you don't want the subscription to continue beyond the 3 issues......
