  • Hello, back again, trying to get into the habit.

    Have been wondering if after next Monday should ask for my overdraft amount to be reduced, but can't decide whether to go down to £500 or to £200, also wondering if I do if I might be able to get at 0% card from somewhere don't really know about these though.

    Just hope don't get anymore calls asking if I'm flooded, I keep telling them I'm at the top of the hill, if it floods here we'll have to send for Noah. (I'm ratty about it because they were told this the last time it flooded here, and the time before that, and I think the one before that, ever wonder if people listen to you?)
  • Just realised how that might sound, none of the houses are flooded here, just some of the roads.

    Hi
    Glad to hear that the rain hasn't flooded your house. Re the O/D I would ask to have it reduced to the lower figure, if you think you can live on that for a month. Then if you hit that target maybe the next month you could clear that altogether. One debt down in a few months should give you the incentive to keep pushing on.
    Find out who you are and do that on purpose (thanks to Owain Wyn Jones quoting Dolly Parton)
  • Thank you tealady.
  • Well, I think that might have just scuppered staying out of the overdraft next month, had to take the cat to the vet as he was limping heavily but couldn't see anything up with the paw, vet thinks he has an infection in the pad making it painful because it feels puffy, I'd like to annoyed with him but he's such a lovely lad I can't quite manage to be.:undecided

    Just checked my online banking, my money is in and its in credit and despite the cat should stay there (provided it doesn't do a repeat performance), as there is a good £250 clear, surely we can live off that for four weeks! So it looks like:
    :wave::wave::wave::wave::wave::wave::wave::wave:
    to the overdraft.

    Now if I can just work out something better than minimum payments for the credit cards.

    p.s. does anybody else wish that a positive balance showed a plus mark in front of it.
