Can I cancel a switch?

Today I went through Uswitch to change my supplier.
Stupidly I looked at the overall saving per year rather than thinking ahead and going on to a capped plan. The new plan is with Sainsburys and to cancel the plan before Sep 2013 will cost £60, as it is £30 for electric and £30 for gas cancellation.
Do I have a cooling off period when these amounts won't apply?
