I am trying to come off ESA and get back into work. I have rung my previous employer and they can only take me on as bank staff whereby I ring in once a week to see if there are any shifts available. Can anyone tell me how this could work with benefits please?

Well what happens next is that the DWP will penalise you for actually wanting to work but not being able to work full time hours. If you are looking for full time work - you might want to become the Chief Whip for the government or become a G4S security guard at Downing Street (as long as your willing to be hated by the police and called a plebe by the Chief Whip)0
