I have recently found this site and its made me wake up and realise that I haven't in the past paid any attention to the policys that i have. If someone says i need it, i sign it. Having found this site it has made me think about what i have signed up to and if i am getting value for money. I could go and see another 'financial advisor' but i dont wanbt another biasad view.
So here is my question.
I moved house last year and took out a £270k mortgage. At the same time i signed up to a policy with scottish provident for the following
Death Benefit - for £270k for myself and my partner
Increasing disability income benefit - of £18k a year on just myself after the first 6 months for the life of the mortgage
Premium Payment benefit - I guess so the cover is still paid if i had to use it
I pay £110 a month for all this - is this good or have i signed up to a poor scheme.
Any advise would be greatly recieved.
