I was rather hoping someone would chip in and say they had a three bed house and used XXXXXunits to compare to
I suspect I am not the only person in the Country in similar circumstances <g>
I think the above 'estimate' using average UK figures is more likely to be a guide than looking for a 3 bed house with 4 adult occupants.
There are so many variables. Type/size of house, standard of insulation, pattern of use, area of country - Cornwall is a lot warmer than the 'Frozen North'.
In any case I suspect there are not that many houses using straight single tariff for electrical heating and hot water. Many 3 bed houses without gas/oil/lpg/solid fuel CH will have storage heaters and be on Economy 7, whilst others will have open fires0 -
How you.could use all that and not keep your house warm is a puzzle to me though? I assumed the bulk of that usage came from heating. It might be hard for people to help you with their own figures as when I lived in a similar arrangement, my ll took responsibility for the bills.Sealed Pot Challenge #239

The OP used 12,500kWh in an all-electric house.
With 4 adults it is very likely they used 4,000+kWh on 'normal' household electrical consumption - appliances, lights, cooking etc. Leaving 8,500kWh for heating and hot water.
As the house has no CH, it is probably fairly old; and thus not well insulated.
Given the average UK gas CH house uses 16,500kWh for heating and hot water, to use only 8,500kWh electricity is very low IMO.0
