Where can I get wellies for a child with wide/high feet?

We've tried everything we can find, including crocs wellies but my 7 year old can't get his feet into any of the wellies we find. He'll be a size 3, possibly 4. His ankles are wide, and he has high instep and H fitting feet.
Cheap wellies are no good because he's got poor fine motor control and can't pull floppy wellies back off again. He needs them for school, unfortunately. The shop we bought from last year has closed down - they were ordinary wellies but the sides were stiff rather than floppy like the supermarket ones are.
We are limited on shops here so there are probably lots of brands we haven't seen, but I've tried so many pairs off ebay in the last fortnight and none of them fit, so I thought I'd ask for recommendations from anyone else who's bought for wife feet and ankle.

My son is 12 and has wide, size 13 feet. Wellies from places like Millets tend to be better than supermarket wellies, but I tend to buy workboots for my lad now. Your son might be a bit young for this, but it could be an option for the future.0

My 1st thought for wider fitting footwear was Evans.
I realise it's a ladies plus size shop but possible they'll do something neutral coloured and in his size?

Spendless I got him some women's wellies this week - they are 'short' wellies but because he's only 7 they look normal on him
I got Dunlop 'dee' because internet searches suggested they were suitable for women with wide calves, so I thought they'd probably allow for wide ankles too
