  • Anyone remember the days when Ulster and Eire pounds were interchangeable?
I remember getting much the same response when I explained I did not want "silver" in my change with harps on it!

I used to put Eire coins in the one man operated buses in Glasgow if I got any in my change and did not notice them at the time. Obvously they must have been OK with it.
