Absolutely shambolic, ordered a TV it is out of stock for delivery.
They don't inform you of this, you wait in all day for it to be delivered, then when it doesn't arrive you phone them, they inform you to phone back in 5 days time to re arrange delivery.
Then when you say this isn't good enough, and ask for a refund you are informed that they will do this. Not really believing them, you phone back and surprise surprise the refund wasn't authorised.
So you try escalating and cannot get through to a manager, when you finally do they finally authorise refund, but took 30 minutes on the phone to do so.

Did you order in store or on-line?
I thought that on-line, it tells you if an item is 'currently out of stock for delivery'.0 -

I thought that on-line, it tells you if an item is 'currently out of stock for delivery'.
From my experience it tells you whether or not it is in stock at selected shops or for delivery.
Of course, how accurate this information is is anyone's guess.
I don't use Argos much but when I do I always reserve the item on line and I have never failed to pick it up. (But I probably only do that about once a year.)There are two types of people in the world: Those that can extrapolate information.0
