Which Combi Boiler for 4 bed detached modern house?

The house is a 1999 build with its original Gloworm boiler. It is inefficient (tested to be burning £1 gas but giving only 60p or energy of so out of that £1 according to the plumber). The boiler breaks down often, almost every winter.
Looking to replace it with a combi boiler that is fuel efficient yet powerful enough to heat up 6 radiators downstairs + 6 upstairs.
We have 2 showers.
We have an electric hot water storage tank upstairs tank which I can switch on the electric plug to when our boiler breaks down to just give hot water on tap and showers.
The existing Gloworm boiler is downstairs in the utility room.
Any ideas please?
A 52K pressure one or lower or other brands but must be affordable, efficient, house must get really warm.
I've read a few threads on here about how the Vaillant don't heat the radiators enough etc.
I would like to keep the electric powered hot water tank upstairs too in case of boiler problems.
Any companies anyone has used that fitted them a great one that is payable monthly perhaps?
Thanks.

if you want to retain the hot water cylinder then a combi isn't the right boiler as all your hot water will be run by this & the cylinder will go, if you have a 52000 btu boiler at the moment then you will need an 18kw replacement (either a system boiler or open vented), there are a few companies that will let you pay monthly BG being one of them (although most people have a problem with them) & of course they are going to be alot more expensive than a local independant, plus BG will prob try to sell you one of their own branded boilers which is in fact a glowworm boiler anyway but if you don't have the funds to pay for it outright then this maybe your only option.
You could ask 10 diff RGI & get 10 diff recommendations for makes & models of boilers (each will have their fav) my recommendation is below.

You get no BS from me & if I think you are wrong I WILL tell you.0 -
You need to a RGI through the door (someone recommended by a source you trust) to quote. Re: Vaillant..don't believe everything you read on internet forums.
More here. Ask to see CIPHE (Chartered Institute of Plumbing & Heating Engineering)0 -
I suspect you are thinking combi equals efficiency. For the size of your property a combi may not be the best option due to the potential demands for hot water at a number of outlets at the same time.
Many boiler sites (includind Vaillant) have a questionnaire system which advises the best boiler for your needs. None combi boilers are still efficient.0
