Can you seal the grout on floor tiles?

Hi
Can anyone advise me please?
We stupidly grouted our kitchen and utility with off white floor tiles and white grout.
Whilst I can cope with the tiles, they mop clean beautifully, we are finding the white grout stains very easily (it doesn't help that our two dogs walk mud through the utility and kitchen). It does come up clean with Cilitbang, a toothbrush and loads of backache, eventually. :mad:
Does anyone know if it is possible to seal the grout to stop it being so porous to stains and mud?
