Landlord left us without Condemned fire

Hi we have just moved out of a property which we have rented for 3 and a half years. It was a tip when we moved in and we have re-decorated throughout and left the house spotless. The Owner of the property will not and has never spent any money on the property all the time we have been in. The gas fire was condemned last November so we have not had a fire in the lounge since then, so it has cost us extra money in heating, the gas hob was also condemned the year before and replaced with a second hand one with no regulations.
Please advise as thy are clealrly dodgy landlords and we need to know our rights.

There's no absolute requirement to supply a fire, and if a central heating system is available, then it's not really a problem.
As for the cooker, how do you know the second hand one had "no regulations" ? :cool:0 -

Now you have moved out of the property, I don't think you have any rights. The time to make a fuss over your rights was when you lived there!0

You have the right (all other things being equal) to your deposit back.
Perhaps you are more concerned for the rights of the next tenants?
In that case, pop round and advise them to insist on getting a copy of a gas safety certificate, and refer them to H&SE if the LL does not provide one.0 -
You should have got Environmental Health involved at the time. You don't have any particular rights now over the matter, you are ex-tenants.Declutterbug-in-progress.⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️0
