I use the biggest hooks I can find (10mm ish) and fine cobweb mohair to make really expensive looking floaty scarves;
I either do rows up and down in various stiches or go round and round from the centre. by increasing the number of stiches in each round you can make a fab frilly edge.0 -
I've just found this thread and will read the rest of the posts a bit later but I just wanted to say to Mrs Tine that I get tendonitis in both hands quite badly, but have no intention of giving up knitting or crochet because it keeps me sane! On my Mum's advice, I have started using wooden or bamboo needles and hooks instead of my old steel ones, and I've found they really make a difference. I was starting to struggle with the steel ones but the wooden ones are warmer to the touch and much more comfortable to use, and I am now knitting and crocheting a lot faster again. They are a bit dearer but I have managed to pick some up in charity shops. I would definitely recommend investing in them.KNIT YOUR SQUARE TOTALS:
