Gordon Ramsay's Cookery Course

Options
Has anyone been watching it on the telly - channel 4.
I am not usually fan of him but he has seduced me this time.
A lot of his recipes look so cheap they are practically free.

I wanted to buy the book but have resisted and ordered it from the library.

Actually I agree with you, I'm not a fan either usually but the food looks nice and he's not playing up to the camera either just cooking :)

I might try and see if there are any recipes available online.

Fab show, only complaint is he doesn't do much veggie food so I would have to alter a lot of the recipes but it's understandable given his attitude towards vegetarians

It says at the end of the programme that some of the recipes are available at channel4.com in his scrapbook. Haven't looked to see what's available though.

That's an understatement! I caught the first line of his show the other day and he categorically said he'd be concentrating on....(then named several types of meat), at which point I switched channels.

What is his atttiude to vegetarians? I thought he swore at everyone equally.

  • Actually, he did an episode on veggie dishes this week.
I am also enjoying this series.

He's very disrespectful to veggies, inc hiding meet in food and giving it to veggies, telling them and saying no harm

Glad to hear there's a veggie one I haven't seen any of this week's episodes yet

He's on the One show now and apologised to vegetarians for upsetting them 10 Years ago! I cant bear the way he bounces up and down when he's talking on the new programme

I was actually inspired to make the bacon, pea and goat's cheese frittata at the weekend, that I saw him do last week on his programme. It was lovely, but the kids did wonder why they were having peas for breakfast!

The bouncing is distracting. It looks like he's busting for a wee! :rotfl:

I caught a couple of episodes yesterday on 4/7 and enjoyed watching them. Shall have to catch up on the other episodes.
