GU10 LED bulbs touching retaining clip

As above, i have 2 GU10 LED bulbs in the hallway, and the yellow 'bits' on the bulb itself are touching the retaining clip used to hold the bulb in the holder, is this safe?

Yellow bits? Are you able to post a picture? The retaining clips should clip around the reflector.0

Theres no cover to the bulb itself, and the retaining clip (kind of like a circlip), the ends touch the yellow blocks on the bulb
(excuse my simpleton explaination)

The multi led ones - quite often the oldering links fail leaving blank spots on the fitting.
You would be better imo in investing in a better quality lamp such as philips - osram or megaman GU10's, that is going on how many I use every week and never have any trouble with them.You may click thanks if you found my advice useful0
