Best place to get bathroom suite?

Just looking for some advice on where is the best (price / quality), to get a bathroom suite from.
Budget is upto £800, but I have seen suites I like for £350.
I am looking for a P / L shape bath, with shower tap mixer, sink & toilet. I have also been looking at vanity units for the sink & toilet.
Any help appreciated.

I got my shower and taps from Victoria Plumb and I was really happy with the service. My suite came from a local store which sells Kitchens and Bathrooms (Tecaz) so may be worth looking in the independents around you if you don't want to go to the sheds?0

I'd avoid Victoria Plumb like the plague. They have an horrendous customer service record, their products are of fairly poor quality and the chances of you finding replacement parts when they invariably break are unlikely.
Stick to the well known brands like Ideal Standard, Armitage Shanks, Roca, Twyford etc. These brands are available from most good plumbers' merchants like Grahams, Plumbase, Plumcenter, Travis Perkins (City Plumbing). Use the showrooms to talk through what you want (showroom staff know the ins and outs of the ranges better) but when placing an order make your way over to the trade counter. Showrooms operate on 25-40% margins, whereas the trade counter will be closer to 15-20%.0 -
Wickes do a P shaped showerbath package for about 500 including bath/shower mixer and screen. Will declare an interest here and say I work for them, but would also say that is the only cheap instore package with a decent bath.
This is often the problem with cheap instore or online package deals. Not much wrong with the pottery or brassware but the baths are carp.
Would at that T_T's advice above is good too.0 -
Got ours from Tesco Direct. Good prices and very pleased with it0

I can't see any websites that are giving a shocking overall review score for this website so that's a start. The problem however is that the quality of the products aren't likely to be fantastic and sourcing replacement parts in the likely event that they fail will be problematic.0 -

like the plague and other internet shopfronts too. They all drop ship. They all have apalling CS and like TT suggests the quality is rather iffy. I put at least a day on an installation quote when customers insist on sourcing through these outlets just to deal with the hassle 'cos i don't see why I should be out of pocket through their incompetance.avoid better bathrooms

There are quite a few sellers on Ebay such as Ibath that have literally sold thousands of items of bathroom equipment with 100% customer satisfaction. I bought a bath off them recently and am delighted with it.. A bath of the same quality in a shop would have cost a lot moreThe Early bird may catch the worm ...but its the second mouse that gets all the cheese!0

Emphasis on the word 'recently'. Come back in two years and give us another review.0
