hi,
i hope this is in the right place, i am just wondering if anybody has heard of/ used 'enviromentally saving fund' (UK) that offer grants from the european social funding? they are offering grants in double glazing in certain areas of the UK, i answered a advert that was in my local paper, the lady was lovely, and explained if you use one of their contracted suppliers they pay a third of your bill direct to the company. I have a very good idea of how much it is going to cost to re glaze my house, as i have had quotes in, my immediate thought is they are going to use very expensive suppliers, and my third off will probably end up costing more than the quotes i already have ... after all if its too good to be true ..it probably isn't?? can anyone help, offer advice? i have googled the phone number and only come up with one hit ..and that was one person raving about them.. hmmm ..am i just overly suspicious? lol ..any advice please?
thanks x

Sounds like a scam. Or at best a marketing trick.
