Large cold frame reduced at Argos.

I just reserved myself one of these at my local Argos.

Now I've not tried one of these before and they may be absolute carp but it's a good size, it will fit over one of my smaller raised beds and by the looks of it the frame could also be used with netting or environmesh. Or it could just be pegged down on the lawn over a row or two of pots for hardening out. At £12.99 it's worth a try anyway, the cheapest I've seen similar ones for is at Lidl for ~ £25.

I've tried a (very) mini greenhouse which has the same basic construction. The steel rusted through, and the plastic cracked with exposure to the sun. But, if you use it as a cold frame, then bring it indoors until the next year, it might well last years. Not expensive is it.
