What are the rules for MPPI if you are an expat but still maintain the house you bought as yours and continue payments with a mortgage? Should you continue to pay MPPI and if not, can you reclaim it?

You'll have to check the terms and conditions with your provider. Obviously you wouldn't be able to claim on the insurance while abroad, so it would be wise to enquire if it's possible to cancel the policy. Whether you'll be able to obtain a refund, though, will depend entirely upon your lender. What are the rules for MPPI if you are an expat but still maintain the house you bought as yours and continue payments with a mortgage?
