i have been with them just over a month now my 1st bill was £33 including line rental which is roughly £8 a month. you do have to do direct debit but i have found it very cheap.
you get itemised bills free and many more services..
check them out save yourself a few quid.

How did you get £8/month? Their basic line rental is £10/month.
Is this 1st bill just for a month in arrears and a month in advance perchance? Making it £16.50/month?
