Hiya! To be honest it depends on what it costs and what it covers. I had a great policy a while back with RIAS for about £45 a year. It gave me great peace of mind from anything from a leaky toilet pipe through to a totall loss of heating. I suffered both on 2 different occassions and had a response within 8 hours after making the call and all sorted FREE. I would always suggest read what it covers and when you call the call inthe event of a claim state EXACTLY what clause you are claiming under.
EG the leaking toilet pipe was only small, but posed a 'risk of flooding and furthur damage to the property'
I would personally always take it out (or try to get it thrown in free).0
