Another laptop question

Can see Asda have some laptop offers but which company to go for , I have a dying Sony D/D has Asus ,I am a silver surfer used to a Sony but willing to change for a good price

    Yes its old about 5yrs keyboard crackered,battery on power,just difficult to move it around ,so I fancy treating myself.

    I'd go an look at some, to see which feels comfortable to the eyes and hands, and choose based on that, rather than the brand name. Laptop design can vary a lot.

    There are numerous other similiar threads with alternatives and suggestions of whats out there if you are prepared to shop elsewhere.

    If you have some in mind, post a link and price, and what the machine is going to be used for, for advice on what's best value.
