Boiler Servicing/What's Included?

I made the mistake of saying on the phone to the British Gas customer service person as I booked the annual service for boiler/central heating that yes - everything's fine but the radiators don't work on very low settings, so there may be a bit of air in the system that's all.

Stupid me.

Then (although I've had this cover for a number of years and previous address and 4.5 years at current) she treated me like an imbecile repeating about 20 times that if there is ANY fault at all, we'll have our £50 fee to pay, which is part of our cover deal, along with a monthly £19.

To me - a service is checking the system is working properly, and we shouldn't need to pay our £50 excess unless we need a part. What do you think?

The word 'service' is becoming very muddy.
