Electrician (or plumber)?

Howdy. I've posted something in the water forum, but it's probably more suited to here (as it's an electric shower thing).
So linking to it from here rather than reposting the same thread:

Thanks.

Electrician to do the electric supply, plumber to connect water if your not confident doing it yourself. Or get the electrician to do the plumbing.

Youll need a plumber to work out how best to maximise the pressure in your house.

Also there are websites around that can recommend tradesmen or speak to locals and see who they recomend.

Dont see why youve made two threads?! And its probably more suited to 'In my home (includes DIY)' to be honest! :-P

    So you're suggesting I should make 3 then? :p

Paying both a plumber and electrician is gonna get pretty costly.

Found this site: http://www.checkatrade.com/ but it doesn't seem to have so many registered members.

Without wanting to get al Monty Python. A plumber with electrical ability is better than an electrician with 'plumbing ability', right?

Arrggghh! I have to try and sort this out on Monday.

I'm pretty sure the old shower is ancient - the fuse is 30A which I believe is only suitable for 7kw showers and that if I buy/replace it with one that is more powerful (highly likely) that I'll have to get a 40A fuse (for anything beteen 8kw and 10kw). Can anyone confirm this?
