£100 Leather coat postage advice please?

Hi

Please can anyone advise me.
I sold a leather coat for just over £100 on Ebay. What is the best way to post it? I know it will cost more than I was allowed to charge but I want to ensure it gets there safely.

Royal Mail special delivery, an expensive item needs tracking in case it gets lost. If it does get lost, without tracking you will have to refund your buyer 100%.

There are cheaper tracked options (couriers) too - take a look at the postage sticky at the top of the forum.

OP what postage services did you offer in the listing?
If you listed RM,then you may annoy a buyer using a courier,and vice versa

A leather coat will weigh more than 2 kilos, making SD too expensive. If you just want to go and post it, rather than waitng for a courier, Parcelforce 48 would be cheaper and insured up to £100.
