Just wondering if anyone has experience of these? They do look like a great idea, especially for the winter.
I'm considering buying one for my dog, as the front room (which he sleeps in) can get quite cold during the winter months.

Dogs have fur coats, they really dont need one of these.
Our cat sleeps in a freezing conservatory during the winter, she isnt locked in there, she can move freely about the house if she wishes.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -
Unless your dog is a hairless breed you would be wasting you money.I'm not that way reclined

My cat has a lovely heat pad, it's a bit like a humans underneath electric blanket. Even though she has a fur coat on, she is getting on in years and why shouldn't she have a bit of comfort, after all she does feel the cold too. She has the heat pad under one side of her padded blankie so she can move if it's too warm.Saving 1 animal wont change the world - but it will change the world for that 1 animal

You could always use a foil emergency blanket to make your own. Doggy blanket or bit of Vetbed over the top, probably a lot cheaper if those beds are still the same price as when I used to work in a petshop that sold them (they're probably more nowadays actually!)
As long as the dog has a choice of beds when you've got that sort of thing, I see no harm, but as others say - dogs do have fur coats and do quite well at keeping warm themselves. One of mine gets too hot in certain rooms even in winter, and takes himself off to sleep by the back door where it's a bit cooler.0
