Simple question about Natwest

Options
Is there a maximum cash withdrawal limit that I can make from Natwest in branch over the counter?
And do I have to give notice to the branch to withdraw a large amount in cash?
Thanx

Many branches do not carry much cash.

So you would be better talking the branch you intend to use. As you may find you need to give some notice if you really need a large amount of cash.

  • Good evening,

I work in Natwest . . you didnt say how much, but anything over approx £3000 would need photo I.D. If the branch is a small branch, notice would be helpful. If a large branch, they should stock plenty of cash.

Although, if the amount is over £10k would advise BACS or CHAPS payment to wherever it is going (there is a charge but its much safer).

Whats the largest cash withdrawal you have ever done at your branch?
    For everthing else there's mastercard.
    For clampers there's Barclaycard.

  • With any medium - large branches, you can cash anything up to £25000 without notice - but obviously it's better if you do give notice! Sub branches tend to not carry so much cash, althought afaik they would still have to cash up to £25000 on demand.
