Anyone got one of these? Do they still work during the winter? In Scotland?

Mine didn't give out any acceptable levels of light even after charging in summer in mid England.
Got rid and bought a Wickes 120w PIR light for £9. Plenty of light from that.Forgotten but not gone.0 -
I bought one of these http://www.thesolarcentre.co.uk/products/Evo15_Solar_PIR_Utility_Light-357-7.html and it was so great, I bought another two. I have one by the back gate, one by the back door, and one for my greenhouse. A really bright light and my 1st one has worked perfectly through the dark days of winter for 2 or 3 years now (I'm in the Midlands). Easy to install, just a small panel to catch the sun and a long wire to the light, so should be able to fit it in most places. Miles better than previous styles of solar lights I've tried - technology has moved on a lot.
This one is £20 at the moment, and I was recently sent a code sep12 for 20% discount till 30th Sept.0
