Interesting...No offence intended, but I'd have thought that running 5k's a whole bunch easier than the insanity workouts. From the adverts, I always assumed that you had to be fairly fit before you started insanity - is that not the case?0 -
Yes. Yes you do - before I started I was hitting the gym a few times a week, going swimming etc, and I've always messed about on Wii Fit and gone cheerleading once a week.
However, I've always been an awful runner. I have no idea at all why - I can dance, swim, do boxing or whatever for ages...but not running.
Insanity has helped...but I'm still a bad runner!

Any DVDs out there with someone who has no coordination at all?0

I quite liked most the Jillian Michaels ones - 30 Day Shred is the really popular one, but I preferred Ripped in 30. Banish Fat, Boost Metabolism is also pretty good too.
Haven't done any for months though, I've started doing spinning classes instead...which are way more tiring than any of the above videos!
Second vote for Ripped in 30, love it! Just finished it and it's my favourite Jillian to date. Have almost all of them, as I am a bit addicted to her workouts. Started Body Revolution yesterday, but it's really expensive so I'd recommend one of the shorter ones first.Any DVDs out there with someone who has no coordination at all?
I like the Jillian DVDs for this, I'm not very co-ordinated or flexible but can keep up with most of her exercises. And because it's a time based circuit (30-60 seconds per exercise) rather than a set routine like the more cardio focused ones, I just do it slower than her when I can't keep up.0 -

Coleen Nolan is dead cheesy, but if you aren't too fit and don't have coordination, it's for you.0
