Insure and Go claim settlement time?

Hi,
Just wondering how long it has taken people on average to settle a claim with Insure and Go? If at all ???
I broke my foot on holiday in June and have had a terrible time dealing with them since. It's been a farce to be honest with them saying they haven't received paperwork when I have and no response to emails and impossible to get them on the phone!
Next step in what should be a simple enough claim is a written complaint. I just wondered if I should be more patient as I've never had to make a claim with an insurance company before.

Send everything recorded delivery. And keep a log of when you called/tried to call etc.
None of the insurance companies like paying out it hurts their profits.

Mel242 - which company are you dealing with on the claim - is it an outfit called "Travel Claims Service" - operating out of Southend on Sea by any chance ??0
