Does anyone else have issues with this company when trying to amend anything?
I was trying to cancel an existing policy told them i had sold the car etc, but was then emailed back asking why i wanted to cancel with a big list of conditions for this to happen.
They say they will take a cancellation fee of £70 and an admin and direct debit set up fee also, as i have around 6 months left on policy Im a little bit annoyed.
I should add that i also took out a new policy on the 17/of the 9th with this company for a new vehicle and paid in full via debit card for 12 months insurance, now I know I should have transfered the existing policy but i cant access it online as nothing is straight forward with them.
I have now asked for the new policy to be cancelled during the cooling off period and would hope to transfer old policy to new car which i believe i can do.
If this makes any sense to anyone any opinions would be welcome .
Thanks:(

You will have the same cancellation fees to pay if you cancel the new policy - if you have any add ons then it may be cheaper to cancel them on the new policy as its still in the cooling off period as often these are non-refundable post cooling off.
I assume you are also going to have an issue with your NCD too as you've used it on your new car before cancelling the old policy?
Personally I would contact them and advise that you've made a mistake, didnt realise you could change the vehicle on cover etc and ask if they can sort it out for you etc and hope that they reward loyality by waiving the cancellation fees etc - I wouldnt hold out TOO much hope though0 -
Thanks I have contacted them but apparently there very busy .
