    If its a really old router it will support ADSL Max but (almost certainly)won't support ADSL2+ - you may have to take Plusnet's supplied router if you go with one of their packages. If you leave them within the 12 months you have to pay the connection charge and the cost of the router but I think the costs are deferred and drop off after 12 months??
    Generally their tech support is very good with a 0800 number to a Sheffield based call centre plus they have a very helpful forum which is visited by a number of knowlegeable "amateurs" as well as Customer Care staff.

    Correct, there are no minimum term contracts on a UW phone and BB connection unless you have to have a new line installation, which would appear not to be the case with you.

    Yes but its Talk Talk rebranded.
  • Not quite Talktalk rebranded as wholesale product from Talktalk business. Product itself is very good, support would be the issue with UW.
