I am a Direct Line insurance customer, and have been offered a years free access to the DataPatrol security system by Garlik

Has anyone had experience using this company?

I have registered, and started to input my personal info, DOB, address, tel number, bank account, they ask for first 6 and last 4 digits of bank cards....

now alarm bells start to ring, they have all of this security info about me??!!

I have just received a message telling me that they may have found a check for my bank cards and ask me now to insert the missing digits...

Is this company/site safe and secure? before I go any further...

Your signing up to a system that alerts you to your information being available on the net.

I bet google does the same for free.

I presume you have a decent AV and FW and dont download dogy files from the net?

Waste of money. £4 a month for what?
