Credit card fees

With all the PPI claims in the news it got me thinking about an annual fee I was charged by Barclaycard as a student which I wasn't made aware of when i signed up.

Any joy on claiming that back plus the interest from over 10 years ago?

It was a student barclaycard and they tempted you to sign up with a free mobile phone (one of those Phillips bricks which was PAYG and cost 50p a minute and 30p a text back then!).

About a year later I'd been charged £20 on the credit card account and when I asked they said it was an annual fee. Being a young student I assumed I should have read the small print and it was my fault so I couldn't complain to them.
Won so far in 2017: ipad mini :j
