24Talk - any good?

My sister has just been called by 24Talk who seemed very keen to transfer her from BT to them for home phone calls (she doesn't have broadband). Of course the say they are much cheaper than BT and have 24 hour free calls etc.... She's not sure what to do!

Does anyone have any experience of 24Talk?

Are they any good? Are they significantly cheaper than BT? Is their customer service OK?

Did you ask what the minimum term contract is, and what is the ETC if you want to get out early?

i was just away to post about these scumbags when i done a search and found this post.
They called me earlier this year and gave me the spiel which sounded good to be honest so i thought why not and signed up.
I think they said i would be charged roughly £15 per month or somewhere in that region. My average bill is £40 per month, way more expensive than i was before. My bill this month was for over £50.
I called them a couple of months ago after gettting a couple of bills through to query the ammounts, they told me the plan i was on was different to the one they quoted to me when they gave me the spiel. I told them i was not happy and wished them to terminate the contract on the grounds of misselling, i requested a copy of the call recording which they said they would send me, whcih has never turned up.
In a nutshell: STAY AWAY FROM 24TALK THEY ARE LYING SCUMBAGS!!!
In fact i think i may report them to the OFT.
