Growth on my render - removal
Hello all,
Due to all the wet weather we have been having my house has developed an issue. She has a huge front bay window which the render above kind of curves over slightly causing a lip.
This lip has gone dark and is making the house look like she needs her moustache waxed
I went up there yesterday with soap n vinagar but it looks to be a black moss rather than nasty watermark.
Washing did not dent the wee pest, it also looked like it was getting into the render and making it crumble.
So, my question would be how to tackle her top lip and prevent further damage?
Kind regards
Tygermoth

Bleach will kill off moss. I'd be tempted to don old clothes and get up there with some near neat bleach and a scrubbing brush.
Once you've killed it you'll probably have to repaint the render since the moss will likely leave discolouration behind.0 -
