Another vote for Greenand Black's. And for the none pregnant people - a drop of Cointreau in it too

Not the cheapest but worth every penny.0 -
I think I must be a bit weird here ... I like Options Belgian choc, but mixed with Sainsburys basic hot choc! I find Options is too sweet, but the basic stuff far too wishy-washy. But mixed together they're perfectly fine!I wish I was a glow worm, a glow worm's never glum
Cos how can you be gloomy, when the sun shines out your bum?

Per person : I melt 50g of plain chocolate (or whatever sort you prefer - 70% cocoa makes quite an adult, bitter drink, mix milk and plain chocolate for a creamier taste) with 200ml of milk (full fat nicest) in the microwave, then whisk with a hand held blender till frothy on top. It's not that much of a faff, it's totally luxurious and miles richer and silkier to taste than any powdered hot chocolate I've tried. You don't need to use expensive chocolate either - the value bars at 30p per 100g are ok (though even better with a slightly dearer brand if it's for a special treat). I once spent £4 on a tiny cup on holiday in London made with a really exclusive brand of chocolate and honestly couldn't tell much difference.0

Def real ho choc make with milk, cream and chocolate - next best if Green and Blacks cocoa with a little sugar added. Waitrose essentials is reasonable and is basically just ocoa and suagr ready mixed so not full of carpPeople seem not to see that their opinion of the world is also a confession of character.

Charbonnel et Walker is amazing! Expensive though so we definitely only ever have it as a treat.
Rather than a powder, the tin is full of chocolate shavings pretty much. It's delicious!0 -

Oh I just rememebr how lovley that is - I used to buy it in my life before children! However I'm inspired and am fairly certain you could grate some decent choc and have a similar version for a lot less £ - I shall try this weekend!People seem not to see that their opinion of the world is also a confession of character.
