Hi there - love the site and have passed it onto many friends. Just wanted to say though I am disapointed in the monkey kissing video. These young monkeys would have been taken away from their mothers who would have been killed. Even if they were orphans, monkeys should not be dressed in clothing and do not walk on two legs. They could also pass on or be given any number of diseases kissing humans. It just shows what ignorance we humans have over the way wild animals should be treated. Sorry to be a fuddy duddy over this but it is an all to familiar scene which is wrong.

The chimps seemed to enjoy it... as long as they're happy and animal lovers were warned, in all fairness:MSE_Martin wrote:I warn you; it's not for animal lovers (or maybe it is - as you'll see) and I'm not saying I approve of using animals in this way, but it is quite a shocking watch.0 -
Helen i understand your feelings and had reservations about including it. Then again it comes from mainstream US progamming and I thought it interesting both for the film itself, and the fact people would be willing to set such an experiment up. I did try and warn in the link about it.
