I recently got a letter from Scottish Power Manweb,
saying unpaid account £174.74.
I skoke to Scottish Power and they said it was for the electric I have used.
The thing is am on a prepay meter, and I put £10 a week in it at least.
Scottish power sent some round when I was joined them.
To play with the meter.
I just don't understand how I owe this amount.
please help me!!!!
I don't need more debts, ones which I can't explain

on your meter there is a little button pressing it should cycle you through some details such as the amount you are being charged for electricity, compare that will how much the bill actually states ( the costs per khw)
if they are the same then this additional cost must account for them not setting the meter to the correct tarrif. They may offer to come into your home and put you on a higher tarrif until any debit is paid off or alternatively, you can pay off the debt you have infront of you.
